Design System Team
We're a multi-disciplinary team that works collaboratively with product teams to create and refine reusable components and patterns. We also create the design and usage guidelines that support their implementation.

Embedded team members
The Design System team works closely with other teams such as Accessibility, Localisation, and Research. These teams have colleagues embedded within our core team. They work closely with us to help us deliver at pace.
Experience Consistency Team
To deliver an integrated suite experience, leadership identified a need to review components and patterns within the Design System. To do this, we set up the Experience Consistency Team (ECT).
The team meets every two weeks and reviews one component or pattern per session to ensure it's approved for implementation across all your designs. Learn more about the review process on the Component + pattern statuses page.
Core team members
The Experience Consistency Team (ECT) is made up of colleagues from different business areas across Sage. This ensures a good spread of members who can advocate for their products' varying needs.
Leadership team members
The Experience Consistency Team (ECT) consults with 3 leadership members from XD and Engineering who help to unblock and give direction on final outcomes when required.
