Next steps
What happens once we've received your proposal?
- Our product owner creates a design ticket and sets the priority of the work.
- A designer is assigned to the ticket.
- They invite you to collaborate with them. This could be a:
- Kick-off meeting
- Design huddle
- Research session
- You could potentially be given design pairing opportunities.
- A deliverable is created that meets your product requirements.
What happens if your proposal isn't appropriate for the Design System?
The Fusion Design System is intended to be universally applicable across many different apps and teams. You may have a proposal that is unique to your app, or is experimental, and so may not be appropriate for the Design System.
If this is the case, your proposal may still be valuable as a community pattern.
Tracking your proposal
If accepted by the DS team, your proposal will be added to the Tasks backlog for prioritization.
