Getting a Figma license
At Sage, Figma is our primary design tool. Using Figma, we can access Sage Design System libraries, as well as other UI kits such as illustration, icons and infographics.
Any Sage employee can join this office 365 group and instantly receive a view-only license.
For a full editor's license, join the 365 group above, then request access from a Figma administrator such as [email protected] or [email protected].
For partners working with Sage, contact us at [email protected].
Selecting the correct library
There are currently 2 sets of Design System libraries that you can access in Figma:
- Fusion
- Frozen (product)
- Frozen Foundations Library
- Frozen Component Library
- Frozen Pattern Library
- Frozen Dashboard Library
- Frozen AI Kit Library
- It’s still ok to use the frozen libraries while product devs are using V4 components.
- Using the frozen libraries ensures that designers and developers stay in sync as Carbon works towards updating all its components to V5 tokens and actioning Experience Consistency Team (ECT) recommendations.
- Once design and development are aligned, everyone can begin to adopt to the Fusion Design System.
- Email UI kit and library in Figma for emails.
- Illustration library in Figma.
- Icons library in Figma.
- Infographic UI kit in Figma.
- Mobile native library in Figma.
- Brand Digital Library for Sage custom fonts and other brand assets.
They are both switched on by default for all Figma editors at Sage. Designers should consult with their team leads and disable any libraries that are not relevant to their specific projects.
Fusion libraries
Use the Fusion libraries for Copilot, agentic AI, and other strategic work related to the suite vision. Fusion design tokens should also be applied to all products to ensure alignment with Sage branding and UX principles.
